"For the Future of Our Children"

The Virgil T. Blossom Scholarship encourages qualified students in the North East Independent School District to enter the field of education with hopes that these outstanding young people return to our community to teach.

The scholarship pays recipients $325 per semester for up to 8 semesters. Each high school in the North East District awards a scholarship annually to a qualified student planning to major in education.
