The Scholarship Committee
The Blossom Scholarship Committee is composed of the Blossom Scholarship Council Chairman, the Council President, the Council 1st Vice President, the Council Treasurer, and six representatives from each of the North East District high schools. The six high school representatives are responsible for forming a local committee of administrators and PTA representatives which select the recipient for their respective campus.
The responsibilities of the committee are to
- select one recipient annually from each of the North East District high schools,
- raise the necessary funds to support the continuation of the project, and
- suggest means by which each local PTA unit may contribute to the fund.
